The Finger Lakes Digital Inclusion Coalition makes every effort to implement measures to secure sensitive data provided by our members through business transactions, website transactions, and in-person transactions. FLDIC only requires information that it truly needs to conduct business and provide services to our members.

FLDIC may collect and use the following kinds of personal and professional information:

Information about your use of FLDIC services which may include use of our website, your use of our newsletter information, and other information we use to conduct our non-profit activities. This may include but is not limited to the collection of statistics, survey results, workshop registrations, payments for donations and sponsorship, grant applications, and other services.

FLDIC does not disclose your personal information to any vendors or subcontractors. FLDIC takes reasonable technical and organizational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse, or alteration of your personal and professional information. We store your contact information on a secure server.  We do not store credit card information either in writing or on any of our servers.

FLDIC may use your personal information to:

  • Administer our website

  • Publish your name and/or contact information on our website page related to FLDIC membership, committee membership, or grants received

  • Send you statements and invoices

  • Collect payments from you

  • Send you marketing communications or surveys

FLDIC may include links to other organizations or vendors on our website or in our other communications.  FLDIC is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third-party entity.

FLDIC is free to update this policy at any time and make it available on our website.

The Finger Lakes Digital Inclusion Coalition is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to provide an accessible website that conforms to Section 508 Guidelines and the World Wide Web Consortium’s Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA

Some existing content may not be in compliance, and some content may meet only the minimum required compliance standards. Over time, we will be working to improve accessibility.  

While every effort will be made, it is understood that creating accessible formats for some documentation and graphics may be technologically unfeasible, impractical, or create an undue hardship to FLDIC's operations. Additionally, we cannot be responsible for third-party websites that link to our site.
